Installation does not require a recessed housing or junction box, only a 2.75" diameter cut-out in the ceiling using the provided template. The DQD2 has adjustable spring-loaded retention tabs for a secure fit. The DQD2 is Insulation Contact rated (IC-rated), has a 5-Year Limited Warranty, and is available in 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K Color Temperatures.
