The housing boasts a durable double wall steel construction that has a non-combustible fiber insulation layer to prevents gasses and flames from entering the ceiling while also reducing noise level between floors. With an included IDEAL connector for easy snap-in installation with most LED downlights that also improves LED performance compared to the typical Edison base connector, the EFH4 is ready to go in minutes. The EFH4-LED is packed with certifications, including Insulation Contact Rated (IC-Rated), Airtight, and Wet-Location Rated with Wet-Location Rated downlights, which means this housing is a great choice for bathrooms and showers. The EFH4-LED also features extendable hangar bars and end brackets (with pre-set nails) that swivel 90° during installation. This allows them to be affixed one side at a time.
