The NICOR EFH6-LED is a Fire Rated 6-inch Recessed Housing designed for new construction applications. It is UL Classified with a two-hour fire rating due to the double wall steel construction, which includes a non-combustible fiber insulation layer to prevents gasses and flames from entering the ceiling above. The insulation layer also reduces sound traveling between floors. The EFH6-LED includes an IDEAL connector for direct installation with LED downlights, making installation easier than ever before. The EFH6-LED is recommended for condominiums, apartment buildings, multi-family, commercial, and residential applications in a variety of uses, including bathrooms and showers. The EFH6-LED is designed for 120-Volt applications and includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty.
