NICOR 3 Inch Low-Voltage Housing for Remodel Applications

This three inch low voltage aluminum housing is non-insulation contact rated, so it requires 3 inch spacing from insulation. The NICOR 13000R is suitable for both new construction and remodel in both residential and commercial applications. It features thermal protector guards, which protect against improper lamping and misuse of insulation materials, and IDEAL push-in wire connectors for easy installation. The 4 1/2 inch housing height allows it to be used in 2 in. x 6 in. joist construction.
